Angus Reid Strategies has created a number of large, superior quality, national panels for the exclusive use of ARS clients.

Our Philosophy

The recruitment, management and operation of these panels is overseen by our senior panel experts in the Panel Strategy and Development group. As a result, a high level of data integrity is ensured for end clients as we practice what we preach, implementing our own panel management best practices and quality standards.

Our philosophy is to consider the research an integral part of the panellist experience. Therefore to maintain high quality, access to our panel is exclusive to ARS clients via our omnibus services, syndicated studies, public affairs and custom research.

The Panelists

Our panels are well profiled on a number of demographic, consumer (including technology, media, financial, health), and political variables to gain a deeper profile of our panelists and assist our clients in reaching the audiences most relevant to their research needs.

A multi-pronged recruit strategy is used to carefully target and attract a diverse and engaged cross-section of the population. Typically, these campaigns are carefully targeted, and designed to avoid over-used commercial lists, focusing on quality rather than quantity.

Technology

Our panels are run on Sparq, the online research platform developed by our sister company Vision Critical. Our platform enables us to provide a market-leading engagement experience to our members. Visual Question types are at our researcher’s fingertips to generate richer insights as well as increase engagement with survey respondents.

The accuracy and quick turnaround of online research speaks for itself: Angus Reid Strategies was the only public opinion firm to exclusively use online methods to follow the views of the electorate during the 2008 federal campaign.
